L-DCS Technology Pte Ltd was established
in January 2002, shortly after it's founders had been approached
by JTC (Jurong Town Corporation) to build a reference plant in Singapore
to prove the feasibility of Liquid Desiccant Cooling Systems powered
by low temperature heat (waste heat) under tropical conditions. One
year later Government funds from TEC (The Enterprise Challenge) were approved and the project went ahead. In the meantime further
research and development had been carried out. While the reference
plant is now near completion, the manufacturing facilities in Germany
are continuously upgraded to meet the growing demand.
L-DCS Technology Pte Ltd was profitable from the
first year of operation, which was partially due to some consulting
work which was carried out for several clients. Although our
main business is the design, manufacturing, installation and operation
of our own Liquid Desiccant Cooling Systems, we gladly involve
ourselves occasionally in independent consulting work, as long as
it helps our clients to operate more efficiently.
